Abaya Size Guide

Choosing the right Abaya size: Abayas are designed to be of loose fit. Abayas should be 4-6” larger in size than actual body measurements. The table below shows the measurements of the Abaya (not actual body measurements).

Firstly find your length from Table A, then find your measurements in Table B

Please note the UK sizes are according to actual body measurements.

How to measure: Length: measure from the highest point between the shoulder blades to below the ankles. Bust: measure around the fullest part of the bust keeping the measuring tape straight across the back. Hip: measure around the fullest part of the hip.

Kandora Size Guide

Kandoras can be worn according to ones preferred fit. The tables below are for regular fit indicating UK/European/USA sizing equivalents.

Step by step measuring guide:

Step 1: Kandora length

Take the measuring tape and place on the highest point of the shoulder (where the shoulder and neck meet) and measure down to the desired length i.e. down to the top of the toe or above the ankle.

Step 2: Neck measurements

Take the measuring tape and wrap it around the neck with a finger space.

Step 3: Chest measurements

Take the measuring tape and wrap it around the fullest part of the chest with two finger spaces.

Step 4: Waist measurements

Take the measuring tape and wrap it around the fullest part of the waist with a two finger gap.

 

Step 5: Shoulder measurements

Place the measuring tape on one side of the shoulder where the arm meets the shoulder or where the seam is and measure straight across to the opposite shoulder.

Step 6: Arm measurements

Take the measuring tape and place it where the shoulder and arm meets or where the seam is and measure down to the top of the middle fingers knuckle.

Step 7: Wrist measurements

Take the measuring tape and place around the wrist loosely enough for it to move up to the widest part of the elbow.

(for Qatari Kandora or with cuffs, measure around the wrist tightly with 1 finger space).
